5778 Is Off To A Great Start for our Young Adult Division!

Thank you to everyone who made YAD's Break The Fast for Young Jewish Professionals possible! We had a blast (pun intended) hearing Mark Swick of the College of Charleston Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Program blow the shofar for us to end the holiday right! We enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Dining In, Inc. And thank you to Aaron and Rebecca Engel for hosting this event for the 5th straight year! This couple met through YAD, along with many other couples.

And then, on Sunday, October 8th, we were proud to partner with Congregation Dor Tikvah for an evening in the Enchanted Sukkah, with great food, live music and amazing friends!

More in October:

October 17: Pre-game happy hour before Matisyahu concert at Juanita Greenbergs Downtown Charleston, 5:30 pm.

October 26: Part one of our 3 part series - Dollars and Sense: Introduction to Financial Literacy! Join us in Arnold Hall, 96 Wentworth Street, 6:30 pm.

And we are hiring! We are looking for a socialite who enjoys meeting new people. A monthly stipend is provided to the YAD Coordinator as compensation, along with a programming budget for happy hours, Shabbat dinners, and fun get-togethers that you plan! This is a part-time position for evenings and weekends. Learn more >>
