Join us for the virtual lecture The Life of A Jewish Bible as we explore Jewish medieval manuscripts, including the Masoretic Bible (Lewis O 140) a bible that survived the Spanish Inquisition now located at the Free Library of Philadelphia. In this presentation, Doctor Stern will discuss how unique handwritten books tell their own stories and reflect the various traditions in which they were made.
