From The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to Shtisel, and Curb Your Enthusiasm to Transparent, at no point in the history of television have Jews been as represented as they are today. In this two-part discussion held over Zoom, Jewish Studies Professor Ezra Cappell will facilitate a discussion on the representation of Judaism and Jews in Netflix's Unorthodox (April 22) and HBO's The Plot Against America (April 29).

Please join us on Zoom having watched at least the first episode of Unorthodox, which has already been released in its entirety. HBO's The Plot Against America, based on Philip Roth's novel of the same name, is available to stream. The final episode will air on April 20, so Zoom attendees may, but are not required to have watched the entire series.
