PJ Library®

 

PJ Library is a fun, free program that deliver an age appropriate, colorful, and engaging children’s book each month to the Jewish children of the Charleston area. PJ Library inspires a lifelong love of reading for children aged 6 months to 12 years.  Please click here to enroll your child today!

 

Charleston PJ Library also has a variety of fun and free Jewish programs for kids of all ages.  These events allow families to move “beyond the books” and connect with other local families.  Past fun events have included playground playdates, a Purim party, and a musical sing-a-long morning. Come make new friends and join all of the fun with Charleston PJ Library.

What does PJ stand for?

Pajamas! We know those special times of reading, dancing and singing together happen when your children are wearing their pajamas.

Who is eligible to register?

A family must have children from 6 months to 8 years old with one parent that identifies as Jewish and lives in Charleston, Berkeley, or Dorchester Counties. PJ Our Way is a chapter book program for kids ages 8.5-12.

What’s the cost?

The PJ Library® is free when your child is enrolled in the program due to our generous local donors and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
