All local synagogues and Jewish community organizations are invited to apply for funding from the Annual Community Campaign. To learn more about the great work our partner organizations have made through grant funding, check out our Impact Report 2017.
The Charleston Jewish Federation, under the leadership of Chairperson Edward Kronsberg, strives to maximize the effectiveness of granting the dollars raised in the Annual Community Campaign to Jewish organizations locally, in Israel, and around the world.
Requests for funding are for programming (existing or new) that benefit our Jewish community. All requests must demonstrate NEED and COMMUNITY IMPACT; requests for funding for general operational support are not be considered.
NEED: To be considered for a need-based grant, an organization must demonstrate a funding gap between what it costs to run the program and expected revenue to run the program.
IMPACT: The committee will look for opportunities for synergies and collaborations among organizations along with programs that have a significant impact in the community.
