The Holy City Close-Up & Personal: Tours of Charleston's Sacred Spaces 

The Christian-Jewish Council of Greater Charleston is sponsoring the first planned multiple tours of religious institutions in Charleston. These will be free, guided tours with overviews presented by each institution.

Charleston has over 200 houses of worship. C-JC plans to show and familiarize all about them? Our first “Holy City Close-Up and Personal Tour” and will be:

Date:  Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2015, 2:30 PM

Meet at:  Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church (Roman Catholic), 89 Hassel St., Charleston, SC (downtown), 843-724-8395 adjacent to the Charleston Place Hotel.

After 30 minutes learning about St. Mary’s we will cross the street to:

Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim (KKBE), (Jewish, Reform Congregation) 90 Hassel St., 843-723-1090.

After learning about KKBE, we will visit their gift shop followed by light refreshments and reflections. The end of the tour will be no later than 5:00 PM

Reservations are not needed; the entire community is welcome to attend.
