Exciting Updates from CJF's Young Adult Division (YAD) & Announcing NextGen

It's been a busy week for Jewish young professionals in the Charleston area!

YAD members Joseph Fox, Katie Fox, Adrian Barry, Mallary Scheer and Rachel Odzer have banded together to found the YAD Advisory Council. Armed with previous YAD and NAGID 360 leadership experience and building on the successes of those who have come before them, this mighty team will facilitate a broad range of social, Jewish and volunteer opportunities for ages 21-35 in the Charleston area. You can join YAD's Facebook group to learn more about upcoming events.

And if that weren't enough, Ami Abramson (NAGID 360 Alumna and current CJF Board Member) and Jackie Marcus have also stepped forward to launch NextGen. Catering to our 30s and 40s friends, NextGen provides additional ways to get together with a Jewish twist. Join NextGen on Facebook to learn about upcoming Shabbat dinners, brunches, festivals, volunteer opportunities and other ways to explore around Chuck Town.

Both YAD and NextGen are being led by our amazing volunteers to build and sustain a vibrant and welcoming scene for you - our amazing young Jewish community!

YAD and NextGen partner with Charleston Jewish Federation to provide a portal of entry to the Jewish community locally through our partner synagogues and agencies and to the Jewish people in Israel and around the world through our global partners. And of course, we encourage participation of multi-faith families, couples and significant others in all of our activities.

We could not be more grateful or proud of the direction of these initiatives, and hope you'll join us in 2018!
