RABBI DR. JONATHAN ROSENBLATT

​Rabbi Rosenblatt has been Senior Rabbi of the Riverdale NY Jewish Center since 1985. He holds a BA and an MA from the Johns Hopkins University in Comparative Literature, a PhD from Columbia University in the field of Modern British Literature, and received his rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University. He is an alumnus of the UJA-Federation National Young Leadership Cabinet – the first Orthodox Rabbi to serve on it. He was the founding director of Spiritual Care at the Jack and Mollie Zicklin Jewish Hospice in Riverdale and maintains an active interest in end-of-life care. Rabbi Rosenblatt has a special interest in the training and mentoring of young Rabbis. He and his wife, Tzipporah Twersky Rosenblatt, have four children.
