Charleston Jewish Federation Welcomes Tair Giudice as its Incoming CEO

To The Charleston Jewish Community,

After a long, thorough search, we are excited to announce that Tair Giudice has been chosen by the Board of Directors to be the next CEO of the Charleston Jewish Federation, starting on January 1, 2025.

A native Israeli, Tair has been living and working in the United States since 2006.  She started as a schlicha (community emissary) in Charlotte, NC.  From 2010-2020, Tair was Director of Outreach and Engagement for the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte, where she was responsible for all fundraising activities of the Young Adult Division, managed giving societies and affinity groups including Women’s Philanthropy, and oversaw the launch of the Center for Jewish Education.  Since 2020, Tair has been Chief Impact Officer and a member of the CEO’s leadership cabinet.

Tair has participated in the American Leadership Forum, was a recipient of the JFNA NextGen Fellowship for leadership training and was recognized as a "Leader Under 40” by Charlotte’s Community Building Initiatives organization.

Tair’s broad experience in management and executive operations, community leadership and collaboration, and fundraising are among the attributes and skills that make her a good fit for Charleston.  She is a forward thinker, a strategic thinker, and a leader who has proven she gets results. The Board believes she will build on the strong foundation of CJF and propel our Federation to new heights.

Tair and her husband, Chris, are parents of a middle school daughter and a 3rd grade son. Tair and Chris (a high school English teacher) are looking forward to putting down roots in Charleston.  We look forward to introducing the community to Tair and Chris and welcoming Tair to the CJF Family.

Cordially,

Ilene Turbow

President of the CJF Board
