The Charleston JCC and Terrace Theater celebrate September with three new documentaries: 

The Spy Behind Home Plate: September 5-12* This documentary features Morris “Moe” Berg, an enigmatic Jewish catcher who spied for the U.S. on the Nazis’ atomic bomb program. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_rQixY-sQI&t=28s

*The  7 pm screening on Thursday, September 5 features comments and a discussion led by Major Craig Campbell, History Professor at Trident Tech. 

Marianne and Leonard: Words of Love September 6-12 Nick Broomfield’s remarkable documentary explores the love between Leonard Cohen and Marianne Ihlen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsRNV1cJ-jA

Fiddler: A Miracle of Miracles September 13-19 The story behind one of Broadway's most beloved musicals, Fiddler on The Roof, and its creative roots in early 1960s New York, when tradition was on the wane and gender roles, sexuality, race relations, and religion were evolving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsAXHDowVaU
