As in previous years, Charleston Jewish Federation joins organizations and sponsors across the Lowcountry in supporting Charleston Pride 2017.
Please click here for the full schedule of events, which run from September 16-23.
On Sunday, September 17th, you can join us at Charleston’s Interfaith Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Pride Service. The service is open to Charlestonians of every faith and philosophy. Welcoming and affirming religious leaders, including clergy of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim, will be there as we celebrate our diversity and commit ourselves to work for equal dignity and justice for all. All are welcome. The service will take place at 6:30 pm at the Unitarian Church in Charleston (4 Archdale St, Charleston, SC).
We are also proud to support Keshet year round - the only national organization that works for full LGBTQ equality and inclusion in Jewish life. Led and supported by LGBTQ Jews and straight allies, Keshet cultivates the spirit and practice of inclusion in all parts of the Jewish community.
