Following US foreign policy decisions about Egypt, Syria and Iran, allies of the United States, especially Israel and Saudi Arabia, are wondering whether the US is starting to withdraw from the region and if so, what are the implications of that decision? The ADL’s Kenneth Jacobson will explore what is happening with regard to American policy and how it will play out in the region, particularly with regard to the safety and security of the state of Israel. Kenneth Jacobson joined the Anti-Defamation League staff in 1972 and currently serves as its Deputy National Director, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the formulation of ADL’s policy and its implementation. Mr. Jacobson is the author of numerous publications, including The Protocols: Myth and History; The Middle East: Questions and Answers; The Middle East ‘Post’ Lebanon; and US Aid to the Middle East: A Look Back, A Look Ahead.
