A Magnificent, multi-media performance by Violins of Hope South Carolina and Varna International's Songs of Life.
These two world-class production companies are featuring the oratorio "A Melancholy Beauty" by award-winning Bulgarian composer Georgi Andeev.
The performance will honor Jewish violinists who perished in the Holocaust and tell the little-known story of the rescue of 49,000 Jews by the citizens of Bulgaria. The orchestra will be playing the violins that survived the Holocaust and were restored by luthiers: Amnon and Avshi Weinstein of Israel.
Through this majestic concert, Varna international and Israel's Violins of Hope will educate and unite audiences by proclaiming a message of courage and hope.
