Premiering in April of 1739, “Israel in Egypt” is a magnificent work that follows the story of the Israelites and their ultimate liberation from enslavement in Egypt - from the mourning of Joseph, Israelite and favored advisor to Pharoh, through the many plagues of Egypt and the exodus of the Israelites, to the celebration of their deliverance!

Featuring a Baroque orchestra of trombones and tympani, soaring strings and soulful oboes,
the KCP production of “Israel in Egypt” is filled with incredible music from beginning to end!
