Enjoy an evening of intimate chamber music by Jewish composers in the beautiful and historic KKBE synagogue, featuring Charleston’s own critically-acclaimed violinist, Yuriy Bekker. This year Yuriy will join forces with renowned violinist/violist Michael Klotz and their colleagues. The program will feature Jewish composers who fled the Nazi regime and eventually landed in Hollywood. These composers played a crucial role in developing the iconic Hollywood sound. Come and enjoy beautiful music by Milhaud, Tansman, Herrmann, Rosza, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Korngold, Weill and Waxman.
