Eating Jewishly and Islamically in an Age of Uncertainty
In 2022 eating Jewishly and Islamically is more than just a matter of keeping Kosher or Halal, and more than just a festive meal at Passover or Eid. Environmental and ethical issues of factory farming and food insecurity, and newer food developments such as veganism and sustainable agriculture, present new challenges for Muslim and Jewish clergy.
