KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Henry Fenichel and his mother were transferred in cattle cars to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany, the same camp where Anne Frank and her sister, Margot, died. One morning, Henry and his mother were requested to collect their belongings and report for transport​ to Palestine, which in 1948, became the ​State of Israel. Fenichel will share his unforgettable childhood story of survival against hate, injustice and intolerance.

We are honored that the City of Charleston, SC Government is co-sponsoring our commemoration for the third year in a row. Thank you to Mayor John Tecklenburg and Sandy Tecklenburg and their team for their incredible support.

Parking available at the Gaillard Garage, 33 Alexander St, for a special rate of $5 upon entry. There is no need for a pass. Everyone will be able to enter at $5 that day.
