Congregation Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim provides opportunities for practicing Reform Judaism in an atmosphere of serenity, warmth, mutual acceptance, and historical significance. Established in 1749, Congregation Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim became the first Reform Jewish congregation in the United States in 1841.
Tours: Please join us for a tour through our magnificent historic synagogue building and museum 10am-12pm Monday-Friday and 1:30pm-3:30 Monday-Thursday.
Gift Shop: The Temple gift shop houses a most extensive collection of Judaica items. The gift shop is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. You will find menorahs, mezuzahs, and Jewish treasures to complement your home.
Shabbat Evening Services are held each Friday, generally at 8:00 pm. Please call 723-1090 to see if an earlier service is being held for a particular reason. Our Religious School sponsors a Family Service which is held once each month at 7:00 pm. All services are followed by an Oneg Shabbat to which all visitors are most cordially invited and welcomed.
Shabbat morning services are held each Saturday at 10:00 am at which time Torah and Haftarah portions are read, followed by a Kiddush, to which all visitors are most cordially invited.
